Disc Magnets

The disc magnet is often the first to look at because of its versatility and applicability. The disc magnet is characterized by having a height that is smaller than its diameter. If the height is greater than the diameter, it is instead a rod magnet.
The disc magnet is used for many purposes. It can be magnetic knife holders, blackboard magnets, holding curtains, collecting metal in feed trucks and many other things.
The disc magnets are available with alloys of nickel, copper, gold, teflon and rubber. The most common alloy is nickel. The magnetic North Pole and South Pole are always found on the two largest sides of the disc magnet.
